The Greater Western Victoria Rebels Girls will be making their historic debut in the newly formed TAC CUP Girls competition this Saturday (12 Noon) at the Learmonth Football Club when they take on their metropolitan neighbours, the Western Jets.
The GWV Rebels girls are excited to see the preseason phase behind them and are looking forward to the competition stage of their development.
The girls have worked extremely hard over the past 3 months in developing their skill base and fitness levels under the guidance of Head Coach, Jeff Whittaker.
The GWV Rebels Girls Squad consists of 44 girls all across the vast Talent Region of Western Victoria with many girls within the squad coming from other sports to enhance their opportunities to make the successful AFL W competition in the future.
All of the 44 GWV Rebels Girls Squad members will play over the course of the five week TAC CUP Girls Competition which will give them all a taste of this new exciting TAC CUP Girls competition.
