TEAM SELECTION | ROUND 14 v CALDER CANNONS

7/21/2016

A rash of injuries has seen the North Ballarat Rebels make six changes to the side that will take to Eureka Stadium this Sunday against the Calder Cannons.

Despite last week's Development Round, the Rebels have been hit hard by the injury bug, starting when Joe Harrison didn't make it through the Rebels Round 13 win over the Murray Bushrangers with a collarbone injury, then Todd Lawrence (shoulder), Kyle O'Connor (ankle) and Willem Drew (hip flexor) were injured during school football games.  Nick Hausler and Taylem Wason will return to their Hampden League home clubs Koroit and North Warrnambool respectively.

That being said though, the Rebels are excited to welcome back ruckman Lloyd Meek after a shoulder injury sustained during the NAB Under 18 National Championships, Sam White returns after a bout of glandular fever, Charlie Lee returns after a stint as 23rd man for the North Ballarat Roosters in the VFL, Jamaine Jones returns from a calf strain, Izaac Johnson from an overseas holiday and Trent Reed makes his TAC Cup debut as 23rd man after impressive form with home club Cobden.

The selected side is listed below...
