The North Ballarat Rebels have made five changes to their side for this week's crucial match against ladder-leaders Geelong Falcons at Eureka Stadium
Of the five changes, only one is a non-compulsory change. Willem Drew has been rested after already having played two games of football this week - playing for Victoria Country in the U18 National Championships alongside Rebels teammates Jarrod Berry, Hugh McCluggage, Jarrod Korewha and Shannon Beks at Simonds Stadium this past Monday, and also for Ballarat Clarendon College in the BAS Grand Final against St Patrick's College on Wednesday. James Gow has been named as the 23rd man for the North Ballarat Roosters for the second week in a row, Todd Clode serves the first week of a two-week suspension stemming from the Rebels Round 9 win over the Gippsland Power and Keenan Waterbury is returning home to the Northern Territory for a short holiday. Joe McKinnon was unlucky not to retain his spot in the line-up, and will return to play with North Warrnambool this weekend.
Tom Williamson, Lloyd Meek and Shannon Beks all come back into the side after missing the Round 9 game against the Power through Vic Country representative duties, Aiden Domic comes into the side as 23rd player for the second time and the exciting Cedric Cox, who has spent the year playing with Camperdown and the Hampden FNL's senior interleague team after coming to Victoria from Halls Creek in Western Australia.
The Rebels will take on the Geelong Falcons, who defeated the Rebels in Round 1, as the first game in a Eureka Stadium double-header on Saturday, starting at 11am with the North Ballarat Roosters v Casey Scorpions VFL game to follow at 2pm.
