The Greater Western Victoria Rebels Talented AFL Player Pathway Program is pleased to release the Squad that have been selected to play in the 2018 AFL Victoria Country U16 Challenge Series over the next month.
The Squad will play its last Practice Game before the Challenge Series on Sunday the 18th March at MARS Stadium against the Geelong Falcons at 11am.
The AFL Victoria U16 Country Challenge Series begins for the Squad on Sunday 24th of March when the team get the opportunity again to play on MARS Stadium against the Bendigo Pioneers; this game will be the curtain raiser game to the Round 1 TAC Cup game between the Rebels and Pioneers.
Round 2 of the Championships will be played on Good Friday at Spring Creek Reserve, Torquay against the Geelong Falcons starting at 12 noon. This game is part of the TAC Festival of Football held during the day in Torquay.
The last game of the Championships will be the traditional Triple Header of all country Regions to be played on Friday 6th April at the Queen Elizabeth Oval in Bendigo. The GWV Rebels will take on the Dandenong Stingrays starting at 12 noon.
