The Rebels are preparing for a very physical game this Sunday when they take on the strong Geelong Falcons at Eureka Stadium. The game will get underway at 1:00 pm.
This is set to be a big day for the Rebels as it’s their inaugural Ronald McDonald House Charity Fundraising game with all money raised will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charity to help and support sick children and their families across Victoria.
It is also the Rebels annual Parent/Sponsors day so we look forward to having a large group of support for the Rebels on one of the biggest days on our calendar.
The Rebels enter the game coming off their 10th straight win last week where they defeated the Western Jets by 29 points. It was a scrappy match in cold and windy conditions however the Rebels were able to hold on to their lead after a strong third quarter.
The Falcons are looking to get a win after drawing with the Sandringham Dragons last week in what was their second draw in three weeks. A strong win this week is crucial for the Falcons as it could see them edge their way back into the top 4.
Both sides have the ability to welcome back Vic Country representatives for the occasion which will no doubt strengthen the sides.
