This Saturday the Rebels take on the 4th placed Geelong Falcons in a Qualifying Final blockbuster. The game is set to get underway at 2:00pm at IKON Park, Carlton.
A win here would advance either team through to a Preliminary Final edging the team to just one win away from a possible Grand Final birth.
The Rebels will be entering the finals series with some strong form after a 34 point win against the Oakleigh Chargers last week at Eureka Stadium.
It was a tight contest all game until the Rebels were able to kick 6 goals to 1 in the final term and runaway with the victory. The team’s character and commitment has been fantastic throughout the season and it is now time to carry it through into the finals series.
The Falcons will also be entering the finals coming off the back of some very strong performances having won their last three games. Last week they were able to knock off the highly touted Dandenong Stingrays which gave them a top four position.
The Falcons will be looking to beat the Rebels for the third straight time this year and will go into the game full of confidence; however the Rebels are hungry for finals success and will leave no stone unturned on the day to get the best result possible.
