This Sunday at Simonds Stadium in Geelong, Victoria Country will come up against Victoria Metro in the first round of the NAB AFL U18 National Championships.
Three Rebels Darcy Tucker (Horsham Saints FNC), Yestin Eades (St Patricks College) and Jarrod Berry (Horsham Saints FNC) have been selected to represent Vic Country in what will be an exciting contest against the rivals.
A secondary Vic Country Team will play against Vic Metro B. This game gives players not selected in the Round 1 team the opportunity to play in front of recruiters as well as enhancing opportunities for future games in the Championships.
Two Rebels players Tom Templeton (Portland), and Matthew Johnston (North City FNC), have been given the opportunity to play in this match based on their strong start to the season.
Game 1 V Vic Metro A – 11.00am start. Game 2 V Vic Metro B – 1.30pm start
