NEWS | Rebels return from the United States

North Ballarat footballers Hugh McCluggage, 17 from Allansford, Jarrod Korewha, 17 from Koroit and Jarrod Berry, 18 from Horsham, have arrived home from the United States.

All are members of the NAB AFL Academy Level Two squad that has returned from a 14-day high performance training camp at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida and Los Angeles.

The NAB AFL Academy Level Two Squad includes the best 35 Under-18 players in the country and is coached by Brenton Sanderson.

 Players in this squad are eligible for the 2016 NAB AFL Draft.

The IMG Academy is world renowned for the development of elite athletes with a focus on responsibility, leadership and determination. Athletes that have attended the academy include Maria Sharapova and Eli Manning.

The NAB AFL Academy is key component of the NAB AFL Rising Stars Program, which supports grassroots players and football communities and helps young Australians fulfil their dream of playing in the AFL.

NAB has been Footifying Australia since 2002 through the NAB AFL Rising Stars Program which comprises the following elements:

· NAB AFL Draft Combine 
· NAB AFL Under-18 Championships 
· NAB AFL Academy
· NAB AFL Under-16 Championships
