The Rebels head to Highgate Recreation Reserve this Saturday at 1.30pm as they take on the Murray Bushrangers in Round 10 of the TAC CUP.
Both teams will be fresh and will be looking to get a win after a week off due to the development round.
The Rebels are coming off a low scoring win last fortnight against the Sandringham Dragons, and this week they will look to get their 8th straight win.
The Bushrangers are looking to continue their form after a 74 point victory against the Northern Territory last fortnight where the Bushies were just too strong for their opponents.
Both teams will be missing some key personnel due to Round 4 of the NAB AFL National U18 Championships but this only gives further opportunities to other players such as Clay Bilney (East Point FC) who will make his TAC CUP debut with the Rebels this week as the 23rd player.
Jacob Wheelahan will also make his long awaited return for his first Rebels game since the end of 2014 after his long term shoulder injury.
We also welcome back Billy Lloyd, Lloyd Meek and Rhona Conboy into the line-up after impressive form at local footy.
Four Rebels; Matthew Johnston, Darcy Tucker, Yestin Eades and Jarrod Berry will fly out to Adelaide tomorrow for their place in the Vic Country team which takes on the South Australian State Team on Sunday at AAMI Stadium.
