The Rebels take on the Calder Cannons this Saturday at Eureka Stadium. The game is set to get underway at 12.00 pm.
The Rebels are coming off a disappointing two goal loss to Gippsland last Sunday after leading by 45 points during the second quarter. North Ballarat held the lead for a large portion of the day until Gippsland charged back with momentum gaining the lead in the 4th quarter. The Rebels were able to hold top spot on the ladder due to percentage over Dandenong.
The Cannons are coming off a solid performance last week where they were leading at 3 quarter time against the 3rd place Murray Bushrangers; however they were unable to get the win at the end of the day losing by 20 points. Murray was able to hold on after a strong last quarter effort.
This week is set to be a massive game for the Rebels and for the Cannons, as the Rebels are looking to hold top spot on the ladder whilst the 8th placed Cannons are aiming to keep their finals position alive. A win here will be important for both teams.
The Rebels are set to have four big inclusions come into the side for this weekend’s big clash as Jacob Hopper, Darcy Tucker, Yestin Eades and Daniel Rioli will all return back into the 23.
