After a weekend off the Rebels head to RAMS Arena, Craigieburn this Saturday at 2pm to tackle the strong Calder Cannons outfit.
It will be the 2nd occasion that both the Rebels and Cannons have played against each other on ANZAC DAY and the occasion will not be lost by both teams.
No doubt all the players have grown up watching many of the hard fought AFL ANZAC Day games and learning the importance of this special day in the Australian calendar.
Saturday will be a double header with the Bendigo Pioneers playing the Geelong Falcons prior to our clash against the Cannons. An ANZAC Day Ceremony will be held prior to the Rebels game and the players will no doubt be super keen to perform well after this important and moving ceremony.
The Rebels have made many changes this week due to injuries and the availability of key players after missing last Round due to AFL Academy duties.
Koroit young Talent, Willem Drew will make his TAC CUP Rebels debut as the 23rd player.
