The Greater Western Victoria Rebels are pleased to announce their 2017 Under 16 Development Squad.
The squad, which has come together from all across Victoria under the direction of GWV Rebels Under 16 coach Damian Ross (pictured), will play in three games at the start of the season, from which a Victoria Country Under 16 side will be picked to play in a national carnival.
The Rebels Under 16 season kicks off on Saturday 25th March with a game against the Geelong Falcons at Bell Post Hill, then they'll play in a historic day of football at Alfredton Oval in Ballarat on Saturday April 2nd as, for the first time ever, the Rebels TAC Cup, Under 16 and TAC Cup Girls sides will all play at the same venue on the same day, with a final game to be played at Bendigo's Queen Elizabeth Oval on Friday 7th April against the Dandenong Stingrays.
