Guernsey Number: 15 Position: That’s up to Rhys! Height: 169cm D.O.B: 01/02/2002 Nickname: Chlo I guess, I don’t really have one Local Club: Hepburn FNC then Ballarat FNC AFL Club supported growing up: Western Bulldogs Hidden talent: I wouldn’t call it a talent, but I normally remember the insignificant background things for ages (unfortunately I often forget big things like names) Favourite holiday destination: Sunshine Coast Favourite TV show: Grey’s Anatomy Favourite movie: The Shawshank Redemption or 10 Things I Hate About You Favourite pump up song: How Far We’ve Come – Matchbox Twenty Greatest inspiration and why? Leanne Gill because she was involved in men’s footy long before anyone thought women in footy was ok. Thanks to her resilience for years; her passion and drive for the game and young girls she continues to be one of the best coaches; male or female, in the game. I owe her a lot! Which AFL player do you model your game on and why? Meg McDonalds ability to know when to leave her player in the backline is something I try to practice in order to impact the contest. Another player I enjoy watching is Sabreena Duffy from Fremantle, I wouldn’t say I model my game on her but in a broadcast when she was playing u/18s, Mel Hickey once commented that Duffy was a footballers footballer; she’s not the quickest, the tallest or the strongest but she does the football things well. I guess I’ve always thought the idea that someone can be a good player without standing out athletically was pretty cool. That comment has always resonated with me! |
